Therapists and front-line professionals need support too! I get it - you are a caretaker by nature and your job may feel like a calling. But I also understand how sometimes it can feel exhausting, overwhelming, and like a total conundrum.
When YOU don’t have support, it’s easy to start feeling burnt out and that makes you question whether you should be doing this work at all.
But it doesn’t have to be that way.
We’ll identify where your pain points are, whether they are due to needing more knowledge about the unique emotional experience of motherhood, or working with the parts of you that are making your work challenging.
We’ll aim to find more clarity and confidence in your system so you can feel good about the service you’re providing your clients.
Consultation is for professionals working with moms who want to obtain more knowledge about the unique emotional landscape of motherhood. Together we will discuss your cases, identify your pain points, and find solutions to help you help your clients even more, without feeling burnt out.
A few More details to keep in mind:
Consultation is not the same as therapy. If you are looking for a therapist, please navigate to the Individual Therapy page for more information. If you are looking for an IFS Approved Clinical Consultant to help you with your IFS certification process, please go to the IFS Institute Directory to find someone.
This consultation service provides one-on-one support to professionals who work closely with mothers—helping you navigate the emotional complexity of maternal care. We explore your cases, identify your pain points, strengthen your understanding of the emotional landscape of motherhood, and address any internal challenges that may be affecting your work.
This service is designed for Maternal Mental Health Therapists, OB/GYNs, physicians, nurses, pre- and post-natal yoga teachers, doulas, lactation consultants, and any professional working with mothers who wants more clarity, confidence, and grounding in this work.
The fee is $275 for a 50-minute session.
It varies. Some people come for a single consultation around a specific case or concern; others prefer ongoing support to deepen their understanding of maternal emotional experiences or to maintain clarity and balance in their work.
At this time, consultation is offered individually. If you’re interested in future group offerings, you’re welcome to inquire or join the mailing list.
No. While I do tend to use IFS as a framework, it’s not the only frame from which I will consult with you.
A session may include case discussion, exploration of dynamics you're navigating with clients, identifying the “parts” of you that become activated in your work, and gaining clarity on how to move forward with more ease, confidence, and grounding.
Only as it relates to your professional role. Consultation is professional support—not therapy. It’s a space to help you show up for your clients with more confidence and less overwhelm. If you’re seeking therapy for yourself, please visit the Individual Therapy page. I love working with other practitioners.
No. This is not an IFS-approved clinical consultation. If you’re working toward IFS certification, please refer to the IFS Institute Directory to find an approved consultant.
