Sometimes individual therapy isn’t enough or isn’t totally what you’re looking for right now. Maybe you’re feeling lonely and isolated and need to find your people. Mom Parts Salons are a soft place for moms to land; a place where you can discover the parts of you that are hurting, and have them be witnessed by other moms who know what it feels like to be pulled in a thousand different directions.
These one hour experiential group sessions go through the Mom Parts Method™, which is way of applying Internal Family Systems to the unique experience of motherhood. If you want to read more about this method, you can purchase my book, When Good Moms Feel Bad, available February 3, 2026.
Mom Parts Salons are for moms who want to understand why they are feeling torn between feeling responsible all the time and just wanting a moment alone. Moms who want to feel calmer and more compassionate toward themselves. For moms who are working so hard to get everything right, but feel like they are failing anyway. For moms who want to be witnessed and in community with other moms.
Building community with other moms is SO important. See if this type of group is right for you:
You are feeling isolated on your motherhood journey
You are up for sharing your authentic experience with other moms
You want to understand the parts of you that feel at war inside
You are open to witnessing others in their motherhood experience
Hearing other people’s experiences is too activating for you
You are not up for sharing your authentic experience with others in a group setting
You want to better understand your Mom Parts, but you are more comfortable one-on-one
A Mom Parts Salon is a one-hour experiential group session where we use the Mom Parts Method™ to explore the unique emotional landscape of motherhood. Each session offers guided reflection, gentle practices, and supportive discussion.
Not at all! The sessions are designed to be accessible to anyone, whether you're completely new to IFS or already familiar with the model.
Mom Parts Salons are designed for moms who feel torn between constant responsibility and craving even a moment of rest; moms who want to feel calmer, more grounded, and more self-compassionate; moms who feel like they’re trying so hard but still falling short; and moms who want to be witnessed and supported in community.
Mom Parts Salons are completely FREE.
Each session includes a brief visualization, an experiential practice, and an optional share/reflection period. You can participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable.
Not at all. You’re welcome to simply listen and reflect quietly. Sharing is always optional.
No. While the Mom Parts Method™ is informed by Internal Family Systems, the Salons are educational and experiential, not psychotherapy. They are meant to support personal insight and connection—not replace mental health treatment.

Not at all! The salons stand alone. But if you’d like to go deeper into the Mom Parts Method™, you can read more about it in the book when it becomes available on February 3, 2026.
